Rosehip By Essano

Over the past few months I’ve been looking for a new skincare range. After reading loads of reviews and doing some research I have decided to try for the first time an organic skincare. Unsure if I should spend lots of money to begin with I went to Priceline to check what they had in store.

After spending a good 30mins looking around and comparing formulation structure and price (of course!) I picked Rosehip By Essano. Their products are certified organic, not tested in animals and their promise is to minimise the appearance of fine lines, scars, stretch marks and sun damage. I have purchased their Rosehip Oil (Acai Berry Antioxidant oil), Pure Defence SPF15 Moisturiser, Gentle Facial Exfoliator and Moisture Restorative Night Cream.

Considering my skin is quite oily naturally I was a bit sceptical to include any oils in my skincare routine. I was told once that when you have oily skin and use any oil on your skincare regime it makes your skin produce less oil, so let’s give it a try.

The scent of the oil is very fresh and not very strong either however those with very strong noses may not like this product. After cleansing my face at night I apply the Rosehip Oil and let my skin absorb the nutrients, a little goes a long way. After about 10 minutes I apply the Night Cream. Next morning my skin feels so hydrated and healthy, my oily skin seems to be less oily after I started using this combination at night.

In the morning after shower after using the Gentle Facial Exfoliator I apply the Pure Defence SPF15 Moisturiser and let absorb for about 10 minutes before applying my makeup. The makeup seems to hold a lot better over this moisturizer than some others I have tried in the past. My skin doesn’t get very oily at all during the day and the makeup seems to last a lot longer.

The verdict: Rosehip By Essano products work wonders! I’ve been using this new range for about two weeks now and I am very impressed with how much my skin has already improved. My skin look very dewy and healthy. My fine lines and big pores seem to be less visible. This is definitely a great skincare range to try also very affordable if you are on a budget.
